I went out this morning to check on the horses and found Casper looking like this.

It looks like he must have tangled in the fence but I can't find the spot in the fence. He had no marks on him yesterday evening when I was out there visiting with them so he did it sometime during the night. He is taking being doctored well, just stands there and lets me work on his chest without even haltering him.
I really wish I could strap a camera on each horse to see what they do and get themselves into.

Oh dear it looks awful :sad: they normally look worse then they really are though.

Hope he has a speedy recovery... The camera idea would be good, some of the things they get into would be funny except for them getting hurt in the process.

There are some on his legs as well. I'm thinking he was laying down close to the fence then decided to roll, or even maybe just get up and got tangled in the fence.

poor boy. hate when that happens to the young ones. They are always rolling into trouble.

I'll just be happy when we have all that barbwire replaced with better fencing. It is still going to take us a couple years though. A lot of fence out there.
